The first day of fall and Autumn Equinox is on September 23, 2023.

The Autumn Equinox is when the Sun crosses the equator and the Northern Hemisphere will begin having more darkness than daylight. With colder temperatures and less sunlight, fall traditionally marks the end of harvest season.

The Fall represents the harvest time of the year, a time traditionally used to give thanks and express gratitude. Therefore spiritually, fall represents the time to take stock of what you’ve grown and give thanks for what you have.
