Spiders could theoretically eat every human on Earth and still be hungry.
In a year, spiders can consume between 400 million and 800 million tons of insects and other small animals like frogs and birds.
According to the Washington Post, the total biomass of humans on Earth is estimated to be just over 350 million tons which is less than the total amount eaten by spiders in a given year. Meaning that spiders could theoretically eat every human on Earth and still be hungry.
