This wall of plasma is roughly 67,000 miles high-large enough to fit several planets the size of Earth.
While this looks like it could be a preview of the new season of Stranger Things, it is a time-lapse composite of real image sets from NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory.
The images are from a coronal mass ejection event on March 20, 2024.
