Glow-in-the-dark mushrooms are called “ghost mushrooms” or “fox fire.” There are over 70 species of bioluminescent mushrooms. Ghost mushrooms produce a light ranging from green, blue, and yellow. Their glow is created by the same biochemical that is responsible for the light from fireflies.
