The average life span of pet cats has risen from seven years in the early-1980s to fifteen years as of the 2020s

Cats are living longer 🐈‍⬛  Better cat food, neutering, and preventative care such as vaccinations are attributed to the increased life expectancy.  Some cats have been reported as surviving into their 30s.

The Los Angeles Lakers are named after “the land of 10,000 lakes” which is Minnesota

The Lakers team name comes from “the land of 10,000 lakes,” Minnesota. Minnesota has 11,842 lakes which they classify as bodies of water 10 acres or more.  The Lakers basketball team played in Minnesota from 1947 to 1958 before moving to Los Angeles in the 1960s.
