The white lotus flower is rooted in mud but rises above the murk to bloom.

White lotus is a type of water lily with lily pads that float on the water. Throughout history, parts of the plant have been used in traditional medicine for glowing skin, creating feelings of euphoria, and as an aphrodisiac.
