Hyenas Will Attack Lions To Scavenge Food

Hyenas are known to attack lions in order to scavenge their food and/or protect their territory.

Hyenas are really good at scavenging as a team and will work together to overpower and attack a lioness while she is hunting alone. They’ll do this in order to take her food.

They will also attack if they feel as if their territory is being encroached on.

Hyenas live in clans, while lions live in prides.
